Turning a setback into an advantage
Part of the challenge of this project was that my client had only a relatively small and disparate selection of event photography – and only a few of the images they supplied were of really good quality. However, by applying a blue-black duotone to the best of the images, and then overlaying a dynamic hexagon pattern, I brought the images together as a set and made them distinct to Blue Hexagon.
The copy for the website was written with the aim of highlighting the benefits the main ‘Mission One’ event offers participants and the organisations they belong to. These were reinforced – and once again made distinct to Blue Hexagon – with the introduction of light-blue hexagon-shaped icons.
